About Kirstin & Martin – the founders of Tabula Rasa
More than 8 years ago, each of us moved abroad separately with our ex-partners and 6 children, because we longed for more freedom, self‒determination and more time as a family. We experienced first-hand what it means to master red tape, school exemption, taxes and deregistration – while standing up to doubts, fears and criticism from the people around us. Today we live as a patchwork family on Bali, between coconuts, rice fields and the best restaurants and cafés with the most delicious food you can imagine. Tabula Rasa was a passion project from day one… Because we wanted to show families that a free and self-determined life abroad doesn't have to remain a dream. Today Tabula Rasa has a team of 8 and more than 15 experts in taxes, residency and banking. More than 32,000 people follow us on Instagram. And in our online webinars we've trained more than 3,000 people on school exemption, taxes, child benefit and deregistration. Over the last 5 years we've developed more than 10 digital products, done hundreds of 1:1 consultations and run 8 group coaching programs … …and that's how we've supported more than 1,000 families on their way abroad.
